Default I'm a newbie!

Hello, everyone!

Not only am I a newbie to this forum but I'm a newbie to low carb. Starting today! Yikes.

I'm excited but also very nervous as I have developed some not so great habits (e.g. I like my evening wine!). But I know this is the right thing to do at this point in my life. I'm 41 and since there are so many heart related problems and diabetes problems in my family - I feel it's in MY best interest to start taking care of myself.

That's all for now. I'm going to go do some reading here in the forum.

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Thank you so much, Cara73 and purple987. Support is going to be the biggest key for me. But together we can all make it, right?

I've just remembered a quote someone told me a long time ago (at least I think I have it right, it sounds right) and I think it should be my mantra -

It takes as long as it takes.

What do you think?
