Default Benjy's Update - UK

So I popped back into Benjy's at lunch time today to see how their "Atkins Friendly" range is doing.
At first glance - wow! the range is expanding They do have some nice looking stuff now.
However I do think someone needs to do some reading. Somehow, in my mind, "Chicken Breast with coleslaw and potato salad" doesn't quite warrant an Atkins Friendly sticker

Cheers

Sounds like your "Potato Council" at work again. First they hand out free spuds at Paddington, now there convincing restaurant owners that potatoes make the perfect low carb side!

They do actually have their reasons. I called them on selling mini sausages that had rusk in them and they sent me a very nice email (plus a £2.50 voucher)explaining that they're trying to cater for all the stages of Atkins. The ones with potato salad would be for people on maintenance I guess. Not quite right (I explained to them) but at least they're making an effort!

Their spicy meatballs are gorgeous btw.
