hi there,
I just happened to have Netzer's food counts book handy ... no listing for hot cross buns. Fitday lists: - Roll, sweet, cinnamon bun, frosted - large - 315 cal, 13g fat, 47g carbs, 4g prot.
- Roll, sweet, cinnamon bun, no frosting - large - 309 cal, 14g fat, 42g carbs, 5g prot
My non-lowcarb cookbook has a recipe for hot cross buns, and lists 58g carb per bun
Drink lots of water to help flush the carbs out of your system, and eat protein to help quash any cravings that might be triggered. And don't beat yerself up .. you only had one. It happens to all of us, in a hurry or caught unprepared.
