Default Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar and Black Pepper

Hi Karen,

This recipe looks interesting - I have a lot of frozen strawberries. do you think they would do as well as fresh strawberries?

Also, I would not want to put Splenda into my body but I think Stevia would do the job nicely.

Any feedback?

Yes! Frozen strawberries would work but the dish would be a little "wetter" than if it were made with fresh strawberries.

You can use stevia in any recipe calling for artificial sweetener.

If your strawberries are really ripe and the balsamic vinegar really good, you may not need any sweetener at all.

Strawberries are also good with a hint of fresh basil and balsamic vinegar.

What's the difference between splenda and stevia? Why would splenda be bad to consume?
