Default Splenda, I know this has been asked before....

What is the Carb count on 1 packet of Splenda? How much is in the packet?

How many Carbs in a whole cup of Splenda?

When I used to cook with it I could have sworn there was none... but don't quote me on that :/

I am pretty sure it doesn't have any though...

Looking on the box it says 1 packet is less than 1g. However, Atkins says you should count 1g per packet.

Yes, each little packet has the equivalent of 2 teaspoons of sugar/sweetness.

You need to count each teaspoon as 0.5g, therefore each packet has 1 carb (or very slightly under).

1 cup of granular, or "loose" Splenda has 24 carbs (48 teaspoons make 1 cup).

If you only have the packets and wish to use them in a recipe, use 24 packets to give the equivalent of 1 cup. (Still 24 carbs)

Cheers.
