Default CA Healty Heart Program

Has any one read this book? Any comments?

Has any one tried the program? Any success?

Thanks. I'm going to be slowly incorporating some of the suggestions therein into my program.

I read the book in 2000, but don't remember specifics anymore.

Jalera- What did you think about the book? I haven't read it, although I've been thinking about getting it. Would I be correct in assuming that it involves using more lower fat meats, better oils, etc.?

Tess: yes, you are correct, but it also involves some more strict guidlines re: no msg or artificial sweeteners, no butter or marg, strict balance at reward meal, and supplements as well as exercise. They also suggest reducing stress, eating less often, and cutting out caffeine.
