Question Red Wine

I drank some red wine during induction at a party and ate cheese and a few nuts to balance it. I also ate a little ryvita but when straight back to the proper induction the next day. Have I just blown it? I do not notice any weight gain if anything I am eating smaller meals. Is wine just a thing of the past? Good wine has been a passion of mine for a long time and I would hate to give it up all together. I wonder what would be a reasonable amount?

Default Wine

Go to atkinscenter.com and read what he has to say about alcohol during induction-its a no no. So I would do a 'clean' induction all over again.[no nuts!]
red wine has more carbs than white, and the 'sweeter' either of them are the more carbs are in them. So when you are drinking wine again- just 2 weeks away- go for the dryest in the house !!
Also realize you are not burning fat until you burn off the alcohol.
Wine will remain a part of your low carb life !!
