Default Dumb cheese question :-)

So I'm allowed to have 2oz. of cheese in a CM, right? Well I buy blocks of cheddar and it is sold by grams. Can anyone give me a rough estimate of what size cube of cheddar equals 2 oz.? Thanks!

Hi Brad,

There are roughly 30 grams to an ounce, so you can have 60g for your 2 oz.

Or for the mathematically challenged like myself... an ounce of cheese is roughly a one-inch cube.

That's the one I was looking for. I guessed it was about that, but wasn't sure. Thanks!

I find it misleading to try to eyeball it - I cut up the whole block when I open it. If it's a 250 g pack, that's about 8 oz, so cut it into 8 equal pieces. 350 g is about 12 oz.
