Default Only the Beginning...

I want to introduce myself and say hi to all of you. I'm glad this special group is here, it feels very comfortable. I struggled all my life with my weight and have dieted to oblivion and back, always ending up fatter and more discouraged. I have been seriously been thinking about gastric stapling, but I feel I owe myself one more try the old fashioned way. After some research I have chosen CAD/CALP because I think I will be able to stick with itl
It has been a week and a half and dropped 4+ pounds in the first week. I look forward to developing some relationships on this board with those I have the most in common with! Have a great Lo-Carb day!!!

Donna

Hi Donna and welcome
I just joined this forum tonight too and it looks like a great place. Believe me, I have been on the yoyo track too for years and years but now it stops!

Default Hello!!

Welcome, Donna! I'm very new here myself, but already have found a great deal of caring and support. Congratulations on your 4 lbs -- you're on your way!

I have a friend who had gastric bypass surgery 6 weeks ago. In 6 weeks, she has lost 23 lbs, and (for reasons the doctor hasn't figured out yet) must take medication to control nausea and vomiting. In my first two weeks on a low-carb plan, I lost 14 lbs. This really does work!

Thanks so much Dingo10520 and Celtnore for the support. I could help but notice that the 3 of us have the same goal weight. I look forward to taking the journey with you, it's harder alone. So Hurray for us---Let's Go!!!!!!
