Talking Dem Bones, Dem Bones....

Okay...anyone have any "new" bones or unusual weight loss indicators?

I swear I now have wrist bones!!!! You know those little knobby things at the side of the wrist??? Well mine used to be well padded I guess. I took off my watch this evening...wondering what this bump on my wrist was...and it looks like there might be a bone lurking under there.

Not I am by no means thin....still very overweight (lost 25, another 50 to go, and even that won't make me super skinny).....but I am surprised to see these little wrist bones. (0kay I admit I can't stop touching them and staring at my wrists - dh is wondering what the heck I am doing! ) They are just BEAUTIFUL!

I have never had "collar bones"...you know that hollow at the neck? I wonder if that will ever magically "appear"????

If there's a Whoosh Fairy...I guess there can be a "bone bestower" as well?

Would love to hear anyone else's experience with newly discovered boney protrusions.

Froufie

P.S. My goal was not necessarily to lose weight on my wrists (most of my watches/bracelets are fitting fine, thank you very much), there are definitely other areas requiring MUCH MORE ATTENTION!

You know that bone at the top of your shoulder/arm?
I'm a 'soft' woman. This bone kind of surprised me, happily I must say.
I saw a collar bone in the mirror the other day too!

I first saw my collar bones in a recent photo-hadn't noticed them day to day in the mirror. I also have less padding on my ribs. I found veins in my feet-and not varicose ones either!

I have never lost my collar or wrist bone. I just want my hip bones back.

Last time I lost weight (40 lbs) my son was sitting on my lap one day and got mad because there was something hard under him. MY LONG LOST HIP BONE!!!

Ribs would be nice too!!

It seemed my wrists were the first place I lost weight. My watch was too loose and yes there they were wrist bones. The only time i could remember seeing them was on a röntgenphoto (I don't know the correct english word for this)

While riding my bike and sitting down I can now feel bones as some of my bottom padding is slowly being lost!

Sookie: In German röntgen means x-ray... is that what you meant?

cheers,
Judi

Lightbulb Hi Judi and Dana!!!

I can still feel my ribs, see my ankle and wrist bones. I'll just be awful darn happy when I don't have the beginnings of a double chin in EVERY photo I take!! Wonder of wonders, I never notice it in the mirror, but it "mysteriously appears" in the shadows caused by that flash! ACK! I used to at least like head shots......versus a full body view...now I won't even stand for those!

OK...so, 5.5 pounds or 2.2 kilos down......WAY LOTS TO GO! And, I am only sharing with you guys. My hubby doesn't even have a CLUE how much I weigh! He thinks it is WAY less than I do! Thank god i have some muscle and used to work out alot, otherwise, I'd look like a Goodyear blimp!

Hope to see you guys here soon!

Charlotte

Default OOPS! I forgot

By the way, Judi and Dana...what do you think about trying to find some other low carbers and getting a petition together here in Europe to bring Atkins products to THIS continent????

Thumbs up Hi Again

OK. All I need to do is figure out how to do a link and come up with something. Then I will try to get something started. I stil can't figure out how it is that Atkins has missed EUROPE!

Hi Judi

You've probably already heard of them, but in case you haven't... you might like to get a geltec saddle cover before you lose more padding and cycling just turns painful!

The first thing I found was my booty bones. I sat on the porch one morning and it REALLY hurt. No more padding. LOL.

I'm now starting to see signs of a collar bone.
Love dem bones!!
