Question Menu Selection Suggestions for CHILI's Restaurant?

I have plans to eat dinner there tonight.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding what to order?

Thanks!

Laura

The mushroom jack fajitas-no tortillas. Absolutely wonderful!

My suggestion is that you go somewhere they serve food, not a nasty nasty place where they serve unpalatable pseudo-food.

Bleh!

(I had a bad Chilli's experience, can you tell?)

I think the wings are okay too! I love them. I always get the faitas or a hamburger minus the bread with a side salad!

I remember their chicken caesar salad as being really, really incredible, but I'm not sure exactly how they make the dressing (I doubt they would add too may sugars to it, as it is a "caesar" dressing, but if you're on induction it may be worth asking them about).

It comes with croutons and a piece of buttered garlic toast so you would want to get those left off. (The toast smells really good; I would be too tempted if it were on my plate.)

Try the chicken lettuce wraps. The only bad thing that I can see would be the sauces but just ask them if theres any sugar in them. but even without these are yummo!

Word to the wish. I was at Island Burgers yesterday and ordered their new cobb salad and on the drawing it looked like a normal salad and usually all their other salads coe dressing on side this one came tossed with the dressing that has sugar in it. I felt bad but I sent it back and told to remake it like the drawing. I left $8 tip on a $22 check to make up for the poor waiter getting raked over by the chefs. Poor little guy!

You can call them and get counts, but here's some that I got a couple weeks ago. I meant to post this, but never got to it.

grilled BBQ ribs w/fries 109 carbs (fries are 60 carbs)
ginger citus glazed salmon w/rice = 70 carbs
(rice is 47)

fajitas, incl 3 tortillas (no count for the tortillas)
chicken classic 97
beef classic 93
combo 108

monterey chicken incl potato = 57

flame grilled ribeye = 66, incl all sides (potato I think(

chili filet 69 carbs, incl loaded potatos and veggies

old timer no bun 1
blue cheese burger no bun 3

wings over buffalo 6, incl dressings
754 cal, and 58 fat and protein 52.
lettuce wraps = 30 carbs WITHOUT sauce.

I got the wings over buffalo
not the other breaded buffalo wings

I love Chili's and they are so easy to order from here as they will substitute a large salad for any of the carb sides. I just tell them I can't have carbs but I'd love a big salad instead and they always comply.

They serve great steaks, chicken, bbq wings, fajitas and then they have a really good salad selection. A lot of their things come premarinated and most of the waiters know if they have sugar in them, so if you're unsure you can always get the dinner steak or the chicken with bacon and cheese melted on top --yummy.

Enjoy (wish I was going with you!)

My new favorite at Chili's is the Monterey Chicken, minus the BBQ sauce and substitute the potato for extra veggies. It's a grilled chicken breast topped with two pieces of bacon and smothered in cheese, with some tomatoes and onions on top. You can leave off the tomatoes if you are in induction. Mmmm MMmm good
