Question Frozen vs. non-frozen raw Strawberries

Why are frozen, raw non sweetened strawberries 3 more carbos than a cup of non frozen raw strawberries? I am confused.

Probably because fruits and vegetables shrink slightly - some of the water evaporates - when frozen. You can get more frozen berries than fresh into a cup.

Also from what I have found is thawed strawberries are a bit softer and smushier than their firmer fresh self.

Softer/smusher means you can get more into a cup as well.

I noticed that some brands of frozen berries have sugar added to them! Be careful and read labels!
