Question Green tea benefits????

Can anyone tell me what the benefits are of drinking green tea. I've read that it can actually help in weight loss!!?? If this is so what are the components in the tea that creates this?
Thank you in advance!

It does curtail your appetite for some. It has anti-oxidents which is wonderful for your body's overall health. Does it make you shed lbs? There is controversay about this. I drink it every day and find that it does not "add" to my loss but I like the taste and other properties.

I know that green tea is supposed to help with weight loss. But even if it doesn't, drinking it is still good for your health... it is full of antioxidants.

I will tell you that I am under the weather today (fighting a cold) and I drank 3 cups of green tea and I sweat it made me feel much better - I can actually work (I do accounting and must be focused). So if anything - drink to your health!
