If you are staying at a hotel, normally there is a restraunt near by. There you could order eggs and sausage or bacon. The hotels I have stayed at normally have a breakfast buffet.

You could always find a local grocery store and go to their deli. They should have premade salads and roasted chickens or some form of meat that you could grab.

I have done both in my business travels. It's not hard to stay low carb while travelling. It just takes commitment and a bit of juggling

I just got back from a business trip. I headed out to the grocery store around the corner the first day and picked up some pre sliced salami and havarti cheese and I had 2 oz packages of macadamia nuts with me. I had cheese/salami roll ups for breakfast with a side of macs most days.

Don't forget about room service - burgers, eggs & bacon - all can be ordered and eaten a la LC. As long as you have a fridge you're laughing - LC is about whole foods, whole foods that spoil easily.

Make up some deviled eggs and keep them in the fridge as well as cheese, sliced meats, salad, etc. There's lots of stuff you can pack to take. You could also fry up a bunch of bacon to have on hand as a snack. Have a good conference.

I never have trouble eating out because almost everyone has a chicken ceasar salad now. Getting eggs and bacon for breakfast is another great choice or splurge and ask for Eggs benedict without the muffins. yum. You can even eat at McDonalds but stay away from their burgers. Lots of bread in the patty. Choose the grilled chicken instead. Everyone going out for pizza? No problem, order twice what you would normally and just eat the cheese and pepperoni off the top. You can do it. Its not hard with all the options available. I've only found chinese resteraunts tough. Your kind of stuck with teriyaki sticks and they have some sugars in the teriyaki marinade. But most American restraunts will have plenty for you to choose from.

Default Incorrect on Mc'y D's burgers

McDonalds bugers are 100% beef. So are Wendy's.

Here the McDonalds ingredient link http://www.mcdonalds.com/countries/...ches/index.html

I stand corrected. But you must admit, they don't taste like beef.

No they don't taste like beef because when they make them they practically remove all the beef flavor in the process of well, processing them (they actually do add beef flavor back into the meat after it is made)...well, that's what I've heard. They also put a bit of this flavor into the french fries...yuck.
