Question Low carb stuff on e-bay

Have any of you guys ever bought any low carb stuff off of e-bay? Stuff like cook books or those low carb/high protein bars or snacks or whatever?

Just curious. Looks like there's a bunch of stuff out there.

Thanks -- Ginger in MD.

hi ginger,

I've never shopped on e-bay. Hmmm. Maybe I should take a look. Another member wrote that she found some great bargains on plus-size clothing.

Anyhooo ... I've moved your post from the Health forum, just so more folks might see it and reply

Cool

Hey Doreen, I think that was me shopping for + size clothes on ebay!!

I haven't shopped for low carb stuff - haven't thought about it. But, I have bought my Pilates and Leslie Sansone tapes from there!

Ebay is a great place to shop - just check the seller's feedback (the number after their name) - this will tell you if the seller is good or bad. When you buy something, the seller will leave you feedback (you sent in your money quickly, etc). Same with the buyer - when you receive your package, you leave feedback with the seller (delivered quickly, packaged well, etc). If you check the seller's feedback and there is a lot of negative stuff, I wouldn't buy from them.

Like I said in another post, I am an avid QVC shopper. Sometimes, when I see clothes on QVC that I like, I go on ebay to see if there is any of the same style on sale there. Usually it is MUCH cheaper - for new stuff!

Hi,

I bought a lot of LC stuff from Ebay. It has a good price, but beware of the shipping cost (almost all of the seller live in US). The shipping cost is quite cheap if you live in US, but it can be the same as (or more than) the product's price itself if you live in other place. The duty is quite annoying too.

You can search it with search key: "Atkins"

I think I may have also found it by searching All Categories for Low carb.

LOL 11 cents...

I just searched, its mostly Atkins recepie books and low carb bars. Probably from people who bought them and realized they were stalling, or people that quit Atkins.

Yep, I've bought LC stuff on eBay. Just make sure you ask about any "Best if used by dates".
