Thumbs up KETO Cookies Italian Style Chocolate (Biscotti)

I bought a bunch of stuff from my local HF store, so I've been reviewing all the products so that we can as a community, support the yummy stuff, and boycott the nasty stuff. Obviously, YMMV, so remember, this is MHO.

I paid $1.25 for a single-wrapped Keto Cookies Italian Style Chocolate. It doesn't say biscotti on it, but that's what this cookie is meant to be. It states 4 effective grams of carb for the cookie, the hidden carbs inspector comes up with 4.77g. The cookie is 34 grams.

The texture is right on, just like a regular biscotti. If I was drinking a coffee at the time, I'd have dunked it The taste itself was pretty good... not too heavy on the soy, and a good chocolate flavor, not too sweet.

Here's the ingredients:

Protein blend (soy protein isolate, fresh whole eggs) , butter, almond meal, enriched wheat flour, cocoa, baking powder, polydextrose, natural flavors, acesulfame potassium and sucralose.

I recommend this product, and would have it again.

Karen

They declare net carbs of 4 (Total Carbs of 6 less 2 of Fiber) but the Hidden Carbs Inspector says: net carbs = 6.44 or thereabouts. I'm sure there's a bit of rounding, but to be safe, many will want to count 6 effective grams of carbs.

Total Cals=160, 9g Fat, 13g protein, 2g fiber.

They are yummy if you are a dark chocolate fan, which I am.

Those Chocolate Chip biscotti aren't too shabby either!
