Default should i modify if i'm not wanting to lose a LOT?

Ok... here's the deal. I dont' have much weight to lose... maybe 5 pounds.. and the last time I did this diet i, like, OVER INDULGED b/c i was NOT used to being allowed to eat all of the great, fattening stuff allowed on this diet. I did it for about a week and a half and got NO where... I exercised (a LOT) every day... but I didn't GAIN any weight (which is amazing... you have no IDEAhow much more i was eating than usual). So, I'm trying to lose those last 5 pounds now... still exercising... but, i'm trying to do something different... not AS high in fat and as much excess food... which is prob. how i should have done it in the first place. I'm gonna get my carbs from salad... my question is this: how much salad can i eat? Like, i generally have a BIG salad with some meat, tomato, spinach and ceasar dressing... can i do that? it's pretty big, seriously :|

I reckon you can have that salad. I did Atkins Induction, fairly properly (ie I didn't eat things I wasn't supposed to - except nuts) but I didn't measure the veg and salad - I worked on the assumption that they're quite bulky, so I would have to work hard at overdoing the carbs just by eating them.
Since you have so little to lose it will take a while I think.
What about using Fitday and keeping half an eye on the calories too, 10 - 12x body weight - probably 12x if you're exercising a lot.
That might help you keep a rein on the tendency to eat loads, cos we're 'allowed' (good isn't it!).
Incidentally, which I expect you know, LC doesn't really work as a 'diet', ie do it for a while and then go back to high carb eating - its a complete change in the way you eat.

Oh, i DEFINITELY intend on keeping this as a way of life. I had, already, cut out refined flours/sugars/etc. I didn't eat potatoes, corn, carrots... the really starchy stuff... or sugary cereals. Now, though, I've got 2 weeks before i leave for college, and i REALLY want to get this weight off. If i eat LESS, will i lose at a faster rate, since i've got so little to lose? maybe, like, just do VERY low carb (my salad being it for the day) and LOW cal? so, i won't have much to burn at all?

I think the low carb is probably a good idea, but the low cal will just drop your metabolic rate and slow your loss down. You should lose 5 pounds on a strict Atkins induction in a fortnight I would think.
See what other people say too, but that's my experience.
