Thumbs up Woo Hoo!!! Having a good day today :D

Hi everyone,
I'm having a good day today. Dh measured me this morning and I'm down almost 52 inches today and 40 pounds! I bought a pair of 14's a month or so ago because they were only $4.95 new from Liz and didn't think I'd fit into them for awhile. I tried them on this morning and they are pretty loose except for the waist, which is a bit tight compared to how the rest of them fit me. Anyway, I just had to share . BTW - I haven't been in a 14 in about 15 years.

52 inches lost, thats 1.3 inches for every pound. What kind of exercise do you do?

Hi Melt - I'd have posted in your journal but I didn't see a link for one . I started out doing the Walk Away the Pounds tapes every other day. Now, I've been doing The Escape Your Shape routine for a ruler shaped body. I also am using the exercise bike as well. I do have a 21 month old that I've been chasing around too .

Woohoo! Right on!

We have similar stats. I noticed that right around your weight my body began to change A LOT.

I've been considering that book also. From the bits I've gleaned here and there, I think I also am a ruler (after all this time thinking I was more of an hourglass - then I lost weight and went HUH?). Do you think the book is worth it? Right now I"m doing a lot of cycling.

Anyway, I digress. My point was - expect big changes! And always try on the size down from what you think you need. I have been pleasantly surprised. I also don't spend nearly as much time returning things because I've owned them for a week and they are too big! If the size smaller is only a little snug - BUY IT ANYWAY!
