Question Stupid question..Could Salt stall you, even if yer peeing every 2 mins..

I think this Pre cooked frozen chicken I was eating might have been stalling me since thats the only thing I ate different and alot of..(Perdue Short Cuts) I mean obviously if you're not losing and you were eating something different, stop.. But I don't get it

I mean there is alot of salt/sodium, but I'm not retaining water.. I'm drinking a gallon a day and it comes right back out (actually I think more comes out then what I drink) and its clear too..so um..lol.. Not to look stupid but um.. Am I missing something here?

Analyze this for me plzzz I need another opion or 2..lol

Nutrition Facts:

Total Fat: 8g 12%
Saturated Fat: 2g 10%
Cholesterol: 200mg 67%
Sodium: 2000mg 83%
Total Carbohydrate: 4g 1%
Dietary Fiber: 0g
Protein: 76g 152%

Ingredients:
Boneles Skinless Chicken Breast with rib meat, Chicken broth, Contains 2% or less of seasoning (salt, maltodextrin, spices, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, dehydrated parsley, extractives of paprika, spice extractives) Sodium lactate, Potassium lactate, Soy Protein Concentrate, Salt and Sodium Phosphates...

As far as I know, Spices are ok and its only 4g for 2 cups.. I doubt it could be that.

Anything high in sodium causes me to retain water...even a pickel will cause a pound of retained water.

Those are quite high...maybe look around for ones lower in carbs and sodium.

cin

btw...I run to the washroom about 20 times a day and still have problems with water retention...my journal is nothing but a big grip about it..lol. I have to be very careful, even soya sauce is loaded with salt unless you an find the low-sodium kind...which I can't...lol
