Default Which diet to pick

I am not overweight, could maybe loose 5 lbs, but that is just a perk. I need to find new diets for medical reasons.

Low Carb Diet to help with a nervous muscular syndrome (RLS). Especially to eliminate carbs in evening meals and before bed.

I need a Low Fat Diet to lower my cholesterol which has just gone over 250.

The question is it seems all the Low Carb Diets are pretty heavy in the fat area. Is this true or just my imagination.

Anyone have a good diet that seems to do both eliminate sugars and cholesterol.

Thanks and good luck to you all.

This is my first website looking for an answer. I trust these type of sites more than surfing sites just trying to sell me something.

The only thing we are trying to sell you on here is good health!

Along with the low-fat=lose weight dogma going out the window, the low-fat=healthy cholestrol is also going out the window. Quite a few people here on the board have LOWERED cholesterol by eating all of this fat. My husbands is now within normal range too.

On the right hand side of the screen, under "Quick Links", you will see "Which low-carb plan is right for me?" Hopefully they will give you a few answers.
