I did a trade online for 40 FREE CARBWISE bars, and their price is $1.43 at Walmart (but I am getting them free) How much are the Atkins ones?

I meant FREE CARBWISE bars COUPONS. 2 weeks ago in the coupons of the Sunday paper, there were coupons for 1 FREE CARBWISE,and also a 50¢/1 carbwise bar. I belong to a "good deals" board also, and I did a trade for the 40 FREE coupons for $3 paypal, so even though basically I pd $3 for all my FREE CARBWISE, thats not so true, because I did a survey online and they paid me $15 in PAYPAL for the survey, thats the money I used to pay for the coupons. Funny huh??
There are still FREE COUPONS out there, they are selling them on ebay (for a HORRIBLY HIGH PRICE THOUGH!!!!!!)
Good luck!
Heidi

EDITED: just checked out ebay and an auction just ended for 30 FREE CARBWISE BAR COUPONS for $17.50!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!

I like the atkins ones better because they have
the most fibre. the chocolate decadence has 11gm of fibre. AT walmart they are 1.93 right
now. for a while they were around 1.54!

I use a shake or bar for breakfast almost every day. I get more nutrition in my then before I LC'ed!

I also use them as a meal replacement occasionally and not as a snack. I think folks get stalled on them when they wind up adding too many calories instead of using them as an emergency substitute.

Actually, I was kinda thinking the opposite, that they provide TOO FEW calories to be relied upon as a substitute for lunch on a daily basis, especially if breakfast is small and there are no planned snacks between meals. They average only 220 - 250 calories each, and are quite low in fat.

I do agree with manucpa though that if a person is otherwise eating sufficient food, the "extra" calories from the bars as a snack can add up.

I was doing them as a meal replacement and STALLED!! I don't think I was getting enough calories and also there is something in them that stalls some people. When I quit and went back on a regular lc meal I lost two pounds that week.

That's why I think they should only be used in emergency situations for meal replacement, I guess you can always eat two if you need more calories ( or space them apart) I can't imagine eating them every day, day in and day out !

Rice Boi:

I noticed you live in Mississauga- head to Loblaw's/Zehr's/Fortinos etc and get Advantage bars for $29.99 for a box of 15 (or $1.99 a bar). I also heard Costco has the same price- it's a regular price not a special.

The only thing is they may be sold out at some locations, with how popular our WOE is getting!

Try using vitacost.com, I get the bars for around $23 box, they have a great supply of lc products, and only $4.95 shipping for any size order, so if you're stocking up its a great deal.
Have a great day!

I got 1 coupon in the paper a couple weeks back and got one of the carbwise bars. It wasn't the greatest thing, but perhaps that's a blessng in disguise (eat them for true emergencies, not for daily snacks). It didn't occur to me to get more coupons on ebay. I'm going to do that. I guess they go for about 55-60 cents/bar using the ebay-coupons that you buy. Not free, but better than paying 3-4x for anything else.

Thanks for the idea.
