Question Question for my Friend

Tony weighs around 600. And doesn't have email which is a shame.
But my question is this. Would I calculate water and calories the same as I do for me, for him? I times my weight by 8 to get my calories and I subtract my weight from goal weight and divide by 25 to add to my 64oz. of water. Do I do the same for him?

Water = 64 oz + 8 oz for each 25 pounds to lose. Which would make as much as 2 gallons for Tony and that's a lot, so I'd say start with a gallon or so a day.

At his size (and mine for that matter) 3000-4000 calories with even a little exercise would have him losing significantly.

I would say 4,000 calories is a good place to start for somebody that size. At my weight I try to drink a minimum of 120 ounces of water a day, so I would shoot for a MINIMUM of 150 for him right now. Dramatic weight loss is hard on the body and organs, and water is ESSENTIAL during this time.

Does he have a computer? If so sign him and get him on here. We would all love to help him along his way if he so desires. The hardest part is getting started!
