Default Taking the plunge! Letting go of the calories

I finally decided to trust totally counting only just carbs, instead of the calories too. I finally got pass eating bacon, cheese, eggs and butter. I was such a die hard lowfat calorie counter dieter for years. I had posted in an earlier post about still calorie counting. I called up my sister and told her. If counting only carbs works for her, it will work for me.
I am so proud of my sister's 30 pound weight loss. She is feeling so good about herself and getting back into some of her old clothes.

I can empathize with that mindset. Im having a hard time with calories myself =/ Im doing great with my carbs, 20 per day (give or take 1-2) but when I went to fitday and saw some of the calorie counts I about had a heart attack. Of course it doesnt help much that yesterday (one week into induction) I broke my toe. So much for my walking for a while =(
