Default I made tasty salmon burgers this morning!

Ground salmon meat
Garlic salt
parsley
1 egg
big hunk of cream cheese

Nuke the cream cheese until soft, mix in all the ingredients. Heat a skillet to medium and cook them through using butter or oil. Tasty! I ate them with some pickles and some Renee's Cucumber and Dill dressing. Yum!

These sound really good - I'll have to get myself some ground salmon on my next grocery shopping trip.

I'd previously bought some pre-made salmon burgers (President's Choice from Superstore) and I checked the carb count and they were fine. I like the idea of making my own though.

Thanks for the tip on making yet another "induction worthy" main dish

Citruskiss - Yes! Actually I saw them at the superstore too and checked and that is where I got the idea! Only difference is I know for sure what I am putting in them and they are less expensive. (I think if I remember correctly, they worked out to $3 a burger! Eeek!)

Yeah, the President's Choice Salmon burgers were indeed pretty expensive - something like $9 for a 4pack.

I bought them once, and they were excellent, but like I said, I'd rather make my own.

I may buy them again too, but only as an occasional splurge. I mean, if I'm gonna spend $10 on a box of frozen salmon patties...I might as well get something like a filet mignon or what have you

Thanks again for the recipe
