Default I FIT into my wedding dress!

This is just so absolutely unbelieveable to me. When I got married about 11 years ago, I weighed about 176. I had been working out at the gym about 3 days a week for several years prior, and had lost weight from 230 down to around 176.

Today I weigh between 223 and 228, but just to see I tried on the clothes I wore the day we got married. Not only did they fit, but they looked as good on me as they did the day we got married. I couldn't BELIEVE IT!

I know I wasn't exactly "thin" then, but I really didn't think that I looked as good right now as I did then.

What just totally floors me is the difference between my weight then and my weight now. I mean it is like a 50 pound difference, so how can I be the same size, and still weigh 50 pounds more than I did then?

Mmmmmm Protein and LCing? I wear the same size as my girlfriend who weighs about 40 lbs less than I do.

Trying on old 'thin' or 'fat' clothing is much more rewarding than stepping on the scale, isn't it?

heh

You just proved something I have been telling people for at least the last six months.

It *IS* possible to wear smaller sizes at a higher weight due to lean muscle tissue vs fat

Congrats Sherry. We are so proud of you! Keep going!

It's not a stretch for me and my wedding dress. I was at my heaviest when I got married pushing the scale at 197. hmmmm...Maybe my senior high school prom dress? Yes I do still have it.

It is so weird. This diet works in two ways. It brings you closer to your goal, and it brings your goal closer to you. Especially if you go by body fat percentages and how you LOOK rather than what you weigh.

Now ain't that the truth!

And to Sherry: How wonderful for you and thanks for reminding me. I have been meaning to dig out my wedding dress and try it on again just for fun.
