Default Fanny Lifter alternative??

I just bought the 3-pk of the FIRM workouts that use the Fanny Lifter. I didn't realize I was going to have to buy ANOTHER thing to use. I really can't spend any more money right now. Have any of you found a good alternative? For the abs tape, I just propped my feet up on my cedar chest and it was about the right height...but it has a fabric covered padded top so I can't very well step up and down on it for the cardio or lower body workouts. What else might work?

Default Fanny Lifter alternative

Hey, I love the FIRM too!

Since I live in canada , when I bought the new three tapes it was only available with the fanny lifter, but...

I know other people who have bought a rubbermaid step stool. its not quite as high as the 2 fanny lifters together (14" ) but is about 8" . Actualy I use the blue part (8" ) of the fanny lifter for many exercises as I find the full 14" step too hard on my knees.

Check out Walmart...should be under $10 and is quite stable!

Great idea...thanks! I was thinking those Fanny Lifters looked too high for me to actually be able to use anyways. Maybe the Rubbermaid stool will be more manageable for me. Can't wait to get started!

Forget those things and squat! Squat heavy! Those will give you a firm butt for sure.

Boy, UK people sure are backwards A fanny in the US is your buttocks. Squats won't help the UK version of a fanny, but crunches will. Goes to show you can't always assume that words always mean the same thing everywhere.

Default fanyy lifter

i don't have the fanny lifter either. i've found that our cooler is just about the right height. or the end table... both work really well.

what about buying some wood and nailing it together. You can probably get some boards the right height and make your own fanny lifter for less than 5 bucks. I have the firm (and the fanny lifter) I can't do the tapes, they are so hard on my knees (as I lose weight and get stronger I hope to be able to do the tapes) I use the fanny lifter every now and then but not with the tapes, just up and down, up and down...

Good luck

Gail

Perhaps they should KEEP the name Fanny Lifter - if the Firm markets to the UK....could be all the rage!!

I bought a step stool at Walmart, $7. Works just fine.
