Default Water & salt

Hello wonderful friends!

I have a question about electrolytes. Recently, in the past month or so, I've gotten a strong taste for salt -- I love my food covered with salt. This has never been true for me before -- I've always been a sweet foods kind of person (like chocolate). So I was wondering if drinking so much water (about 80-100 oz per day, which is way more than ever before) could be flushing sodium out of my system too fast, causing me to want salty foods? And if this is true, what should I do about it?

I've been generally indulging my tastes, since I don't have a problem with salt causing water retention. I also eat half an avocado almost every day -- yummy! Do I need to think about taking a sodium/potassium supplement?

Thanks for your help!

Karin

It does take a bit for the body to get adjusted to the water your drinking and flushing. Just take a Magnisum/ Potassium pill everyday and this weill help.
I drink about 288oz a day. I used to have problems drinking 100oz. Now 288 is a normal thing for me. I don't force myself at all
