Roasted Broccoli
Roasted Broccoli
2 medium broccoli heads
1 tbs coconut oil or fat of choice*
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a 12x17 baking pan with parchment paper or foil.
Chop the broccoli into florets and then slice into thinner pieces.
Melt your coconut oil, or fat of choice, add the broccoli and then stir so the pieces are completely coated.
Place the florets onto the baking pan, making they are spread out in a single layer. Sprinkle with some Himalayan or Maldon salt.
Bake the broccoli for 20 minutes, or until the broccoli pieces are slightly browned on the bottom.
* I usually use either duck or goose fat. Lard is good too
