Default Greetings and salutations everyone

It is only my second day on Atkins and I've already lost nearly five pounds. This is even harder than I thought it would be, but after skipping on the scale this morning the surprising loss reminded me why I'm doing it at all - that is, to lose weight and get healthy. Any advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I'm so glad I found this board!

I'm a big-time carb addict- love sugar, love baked goods, especially love Pepsi so I'm having a tough time adjusting to this major nutritional change. I'm also battling pretty bad headaches which I suspect are due to the sudden absence of the caffeine & sugar rush I used to get from Pepsi. How do you deal with this?

5 pounds in two days is great! I also love bread and sugar, and I'll be honest, sometimes this diet is HARD to follow... But it's totally worth it too! Welcome!
