Default Beware of menu mailer

Anyone else use menu mailer? It is great for planning weekly menus for the family but I just realized that the low carb menu mailer is not really atkins-worthy. It has white flour and things like this in the recipes. I've been doing this for so long I think I've half forgotten what i"m allowed to eat and what I"m not allowed to eat and got pretty lax with watching my trigger foods on every ingredient. Like a moron I just went ahead and made these recipes including some with white flour. I can't believe I forgot that white flour is the evil of all evils (at least for me). Suddenly I'm gaining a pound here a pound there...losing and regaining the same 3 pounds for a month now and hungry like nobody's business, irritable.....I thought I was just flaking out and I guess I was in a way b/c I was using this low carb menu mailer. Well I love the author's stuff but trust me when I say it isn't atkins friendly. It may be low carb but the ingredients are not all allowable. There may be things out there that you can use a pinch of it like white flour and not increase the carb count too heavily and yet a pinch is all it takes to send my body haywire.

Personally I have never heard of menu mailer. But it is good that you figured out what was going on. Think how frustrating it would have been to go on like that for months and months and months before you put two and two together.
