Default Redi Whip

I have read on a lot of threads about people who use Redi Whip while low carbing.....Is this allowed?? I read the label and granted it says that it has <1 gram of sugar and <1 gram of Carbs...but still, is this allowed?? Is there not milk in this?

Check out the first four ingredients on a can of it The real danger is the cravings that can follow and the insulin response.
I'll probably be able to handle a bit every now and then in maintenance, but it's just poison to me now. I can't keep to 2 tbsp.
Heavy cream whipped with Equal and a little vanilla is a great cool whip substitute.

Homemade whipped cream is better. It tastes amazing.

all you need is one little carton of heavy whipping cream (it's next to the half and half and milk). put a bowl in the freezer for a few minutes, pour the stuff in the bowl and whisk it. you may need to put it back in the freezer every few minutes, and you have to beat it HARD and FAST. and don't forget to add your sweetener, my fave is liquid sweet-n-low. add the sweetener to taste, and you can flavor it any way you want or use it plain. it keeps firm in the fridge for several days, just make sure to keep it covered.
