Default another newbie here...a question

hi all,

am a mother of 2 grown daughters, a husband and 2 dogs and a cat.

started the low carb about 2.5 wks ago. have good energy level, not as sleepy during the day. my dilema is only lost about 5 lbs so far.

my question is it possible to lose inches more than weight?

years ago i was on the herb diet and again i lost inches not that much weight.

i am a true carb junky! it's been pretty difficult passing up pasta, rice, italian bread etc., but i've done it especially when you have a family to cook for.

i am also going to go to the doctor's to have my thyroid checked. i go on a diet once in a blue moon. i am not a big eater to begin with and i used to eat only 2 meals aday sometimes. i know that the worst i could have done. i believe it puts your body in a starvation mode.

thanks for listening and can't wait to hear from you all.

thanks
pastafool
