Exclamation Please help--getting burned out!

I feel very bad. I have only been on this WOE (Paleo) for the last seven weeks and I have definitely noticed positive results. I lost a little weight and was feeling good. Then my sugar addition crept back and I started having "just a little" everyday. Then that became more and more. Now I just ate a candybar at work.

Things are just very stressful right now. My husband is getting laid off in a few weeks (with severance, luckily) and then we are moving across the country (MI to Seattle) at the end of December (a dream we've had for years). It's a good thing but getting everything organized (subletting old places, getting a new place, packing, etc . . .) has been frazzling for me and I have started getting burned out on trying to keep up with good eating habits. I just start not to care. I have an anxiety disorder too so getting overly worried about things is pretty easy for me.

I literally just feel burned out about trying to eat healthy. I keep thinking "Well I wasn't that sick or overweight before." But I also really want to just feel better and kick sugar for good.

What should I do? There is just so much going on!

Any Advice?

-J

Hi

Sounds like life is pretty stressy at the moment, but tomorrow is another day. I've had a bad day too, 4 weeks into the diet and today it all fell apart. But hey, we're only human.

It sounds like you have some serious challenges to tackle at the moment. I'm sure beating yourself up over a diet is something you can do without.

Hang in there and do what you can and if you fail from time to time, enjoy the carb and start over when it's eaten!

Good luck with the move.

Bl Nora
