Default Easter Lesson Learned..........

Yesterday we had my alltime favorite, chewy, fresh from the oven, homemade chocolate chip and Oatmeal Raisin cookies. I gave in and ate them because my family was staring at me like I was some type of freak. You see these have always been my weakness so when I said I didn't want any it was like the Earth stood still. They were literally staring at me. I went ahead and tried one, which led to another and another. Well about 15 minutes after I ate them I started to feel belly cramps. I had these cramps all day and night. I have SO learned my lesson from this. I am now truely afraid of Cookies.

Please if you are considering breaking this WOE let me tell you it is not worth it. I had not had sweets since Feb 17. None Zero.
This will put too much shock on your system.
Stay Away.

I guess we all need to learn what the outcome of are actions are. Now before you break this WOE, you will have to decide if it is indeed really worth it! The sad thing, sometimes it is

I did exactly the same thing. For Family Home Evening, we made chocolate chip cookies a few weeks ago. The kids were begging me to try their creation. I had three small cookies. I woke up the next morning with the worst belly ache I had had in a long time. And gas & bloating too!!!

Apparently many others suffer from gas & bloating after eating carbs.

Aint that the truth. I had problems yesterday to, though it was not due to sweets. My problem came when I went to the store to grab something to take to work. My fresh food section was closed cause of easter so i grabbed the lowest carb pizza I could find and was just gonna do the scrape. Dinner came around and I ate the flipping pizza, crust and all. Have had a massive headache since then so not worth it.

Lesson well learned.
