Default considering "refeed" or reversal diet

I removed all "stallers" from my diet and I am losing slloooowwwwwllyyyyyy. I can't even tell if I am or not, to be honest. I lost one lb and then the scale won't go any lower, and my tape measure says the same measurements. I am thinking about doing a different diet for one day, or doing something like the Carb Addicts diet, and eating a bunch of carbs in one meal (it would have to be dinner. I can't survive all day eating starchy stuff). Like maybe sharing a pizza with someone, or hitting up wendy's. Feedback please.

In my opinion, I would stick with the modifications you have been making for a while and see how that goes. Cutting out the extras like you did was a big step, but it takes time to see the difference.

Hang in there!

p.s. CAD "works" because of the combination of the very strict rules about timing and composition of meals... I personally don't think a person would get the same benefit without following the whole plan.

I agree with PotatoFree. It could take a little while for your body to adjust to what you've cut out. Also, keep in mind that it's normal for our bodies to reach stages where the weight doesn't want to move for a couple of weeks (or longer). I'd say give it some more time--you may well end up having a 'whoosh'.

I might also throw in all that 'woman-type' info. Hormones play some wacky games with our bodies. I don't have one, but two times a month when I gain water weight. If you're gaining water weight, the scales aren't going to move until you get past that time. I also have a daughter I call the 'whoosh' queen. She'll go along for a few weeks losing one or two pounds, then overnight loses 3-4. She's done this consistently for the past seven months and has so far whooshed away over 30 pounds.

Thanks guys. i will stick with it, and see what happens. No matter what, I won't go back to "regular" eating EVER- I have hypoglycemia like you wouldn't believe, and the Atkins diet has been the only way to control it, and also, I don't want to become diabetic. It runs in my family.

Last night I did try the Dreamfields pasta. It was SOO good. Oh wow. I didn't count my carbs, I know I probably ate anywhere from 20 to 25 carbs, but it was all low glycemic foods. I will consider that my "refeed" and check the scale tomorrow night.

Thanks for all the support even if I come off as rude or mean sometimes.
