Default Celebrating 60lbs in 4 months!

I'm pretty excited this morning! My morning weight was 330.6, which means I've now officially lost 60 pounds since I started!! And I only started four months ago, so this is really very cool!!

Now, I'm not entirely sure what my real starting weight was, but the last known weigh in for me was 386 at a doctor's office over two years ago, and I know I weighed more than that when I started, so 390 is my best guess (taking into account the weight of clothes).

What's even better is how comfortable I've been doing this. I've had no real cravings and have been able to watch people eat pizza and pie and cake and so on without really desiring what they're eating. In fact, I don't think I've knowingly cheated once this whole time. And for me, I really like that. I like being able to say I've never ever touched the "funky" foods -- and never will again!!

It's just easier NEVER doing something then occasionally doing it. I've never drank coffee in my life, and I have no desire to, but even more, I don't want to break my perfect record. And that helps a LOT!!

I encourage everybody to totally go for it. This really is a wonderful thing that has happened in my life, and I know it is for everybody else that does this as well. We have so much to be thankful for.

God bless everyone!

Congratulations on your weight loss!!
I have to say I have cheated a little. Yesterday was my Hubbys Birthday. So I got a Sugar free angel food cake and had a real small slice and I also had about a half cup of chocolate ice cream. but I don't feel sluggish this morning so hopefully I didn't over do it.

Thanks so much for your encouraging messages!

Thanks everybody for joining in my celebration!! You all put a BIG smile on my face!!

It's so nice to have support from so many and from all over the world! That's so neat!

And hopefully, I'll be celebrating once again this Christmas once I cross that 300 pound threshold! Wow! It's hard to believe this is really really working!!

BUT IT IS!!!

My boss (the CEO), who I've had for 12 years and who has long said I need to do something about my weight finally dropped by my cubicle and was all smiles that I'm really doing it. And that made my day!

It's nice to know change really can come. We really can set a new future. We really can take control. It really does work!

Life is good!!

Way to go Dean!!! I am so very happy for you. Isn't it great to see the days go by, and the weight come off, instead of watching those days pass and doing nothing but watch the pounds keep adding up? I know that is my motivation. Just today I reached 53.5 lbs. in 6 mos! Yippee

Congratulations Dean!!!!
I enjoy reading your posts. I can't wait to see how many notches your belt will have!! HA! You will need to send us a pic of that belt. Keep up the great work. My Upper mgemt boss (VP) hasn't seen me since last Dec. I may see him at a meeting in Dec. I will be anxious to see if he makes a comment. He is a great boss and has treated me great....nice comments in front of my peers, etc.
Unfortuately my scales don't move as fast as my clothes size, but have really built up a lot of muscle...maybe someday the scale will whooosh.
congratulations again....you keep us inspired!!
MKay
