Question Silly question about eggs

I've been low carbing for just over seven weeks, and have noticed that most evenings I end up boiling a couple of eggs, either to eat that night or for snacks the next day.

This is a bit of a drag, and I thought it would make more sense (and be cheaper on the gas) to boil up say half a dozen eggs at a time, rather than just one or two.

Hence the silly question: for how many days can/should I keep a hard boiled egg, still in its shell, in the fridge before eating it?

Indeed ... boiled eggs are safe in the fridge for one week in the shell, or 2 - 3 days peeled and stored in a covered container.

Even those will keep 2-3 days in the fridge.

Many thanks for the replies I'll start boiling my eggs in half dozens rather than twos, it will be a particularly welcome relief not to have to turn the stove on every night in the unusually hot temperatures we've been experiencing lately...

Maybe it wasn't such a silly question after all...
