Default Slower the second time around?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum but am so glad to have found a place to share ideas about CAD.

Is it slower the second time around, or is it just me? When I first tried CAD in 1995, the weight practically fell off. This time around it doesn't seem to be budging. I was on the original plan before, but this time I switched to CA's Healthy Heart Program (which, from what I've read in here, sounds similar to the CALP as it promotes 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 Reward Meal balance). It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't lost a pound. I'm discouraged, and wondering if I should go back to Atkins -- I did have some success on it, but I was so miserable and was hoping this would be a more feasible long-term choice.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Jenny
