Triglycerides DOWN 341 POINTS ....................................

They were 737! before he started this woe! Ya Hooooooo!

My husband just got his blood work back last night, and he has had some serious heart and health problems.

His triglycerides on the test before this last one were 737...

His new reading on his triglycerides last night were 396....

and he has only been doing this with me since the beginning part of November!

When I started this woe for me, it was to loose weight, but then I started reading, and reading and more reading on low carbing and was amazed at how so many of our health problems were caused by all those excess high carbs and transfats! We were your typical "AHA guinea pigs." My husband became more and more interested in all the information I had learned and was sharing with him and it all seemed to make so much sense to him and so he joined me with this and now he is even more of the stronger/leader in this house for this woe!

I was at a 'down time' when I started this in October, and I thank God for pointing me in the right direction and giving me the kick/start motivation and strength to try to find out what was happening, because what started small for me has blossomed in to something great for both of us!

His glucose is not good they are worried about adult onset diabeties and the hdl and ldl's need some work, but by golly we seem to be on the right track here, I want him to check his blood levels in another 6 weeks to keep monitoring this!

Just wanted to share

cholest 262
ldl 141
hdl 42
glucose 147
hemoglobin 7.1

Wow, that's awesome!!!! I have a friend who has high cholesterol and she just doesn't believe that Atkins can help her with that because of all the fat we eat. I'm going to show her your post so she'll know she can do it!

I have been just dancing on "AIR" ALL day today! I am so happy!!!! We have struggled and reached for answers for soooo long......

Celebrate with US!!!!!! WHO would have known...... I LOVE this GUY with all my heart and soul! And to find an answer that does not come from a prescription for a bottle of medicine, BUT COMES from NATURAL FOOD is overwhelming for me.....

excuse me for going on...... but we have been working through this since the 80"s!!!!! I NEED YOU GUYS!!!!!

That is SUCH great news!!! I'm totally on board with you!!!

I've watched my own numbers get better... I've watched my T2 Diabetic Husband's also get better, and I am completely grateful to Dr. Atkins.

Since May I have watched my Type II Diabetic boyfriend, who also had high blood pressure--lose 93 pounds, has gone completely off BP meds, and is NO LONGER DIABETIC!!

Can I borrow those fireworks???

I have lost almost 60 pounds myself, and will continue with the WOL for the rest of my life, as will Rob

Congrats to you and your husband, See! Awesome news!

Bonzlee, Tell your friend that sad to say, I do not know if my cholesterol or anything has improved but I do know that after lcing for 1 year my readings are exquisite!!!

Triglycerides=59
glucose=98
HDL=77
LDL=59
total cholesterol is 148

I do not know if things have improved but I do know that I am healthy from low carbing!!! And I do eat lots of fats and protein to my heart's content.

We all deserve major pats on the back and a Tbone
