I started the Atkins diet January 28, 2003. I weigh myself religiously every Sunday morning. I write the number on our calender in the kitchen. Since January I have lost 46 pounds. My goal is 100 pounds. I put those #'s into an excel graph. It is interesting to look at the results. For the first 6 weeks I was losing weight pretty quickly. I lost 30 pounds. The next three weeks I was stuck at 270. I didn't budge! I didn't cheat either. After that I lost 4 pounds and then was stuck again for another 3 weeks.
So in the first 6 weeks I lost 30 pounds.
In the second 6 weeks I lost 5 pounds.
So my message is: don't get discouraged! Stick with it! LC is the most effective way to lose weight.
