It's a good question, kenzy, but there's no real connection for sure. If there is a relationship between the two things, it's not proven, as far as I know. The one link I've heard of relates to having PCOS - there is a theory, again not proven, that there may be some autoimmune problem relating to PCOS that takes out the thyroid. It would explain my own problem.
Yes, I have 'em both, too, so at least you're not the only one.
If you exercise regularly, and especially if you low carb, you'll keep diabetes away. As for the thyroid, well, just have it checked regularly.
