Default How's This For Carb Up?

I was thinking of what I could use to carb up for TKD, one thing that I'd love to use is Neilson's Mixed Berry Yogurt.
Energy 184 cal
Protein 6.1g
Fat 4.4g
Carbs 30g

Ingredients:
Sugar, Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Respberries, Pectin, Agara, Lemon Juice concentrate, Bacterial Culture.

Is this suitable?

This sounds reasonable; u have sufficient fructose in there, maybe take this 2 hours before you workout. It does seem to be high in sucrose but I dont think this will dramatically effect anything.

This is from Lyle's book on TKD:

Although experimentation is encouraged, most individuals find that 25-50 grams of carbs taken thirty min. before a WO enhance performance. The type of carb consumed pre-WO is not critical and individuals are encouraged to experiment w/different types of carbs. Most seem to prefer easily digestible carbs, either liquids or high GI candies to avoid problems with stomach upset during training. A wide variety of foods have been used prior to WO's: glucose polymers, Sweet Tarts, bagels and food bars; all result in improved performance.

Default hey Lisa!

I usually have instant oatmeal for my carb up but I would LOVE to switch to fig newtons. Think that fits under food bars? (I'm always looking for a fig newton angle!)

I say go for it. It DOES say that experimentation is encouraged!!
