Hey, I remember Goose Fair! I lived in Nottingham from age 9 to 18 and I loved Goose Fair. Did you go? Was it good? I'm 35 now and don't seem to have the stomach for the rides that I used to but I still wonder about visiting a great big fair someday...

Hi,
I live in Rochester, New York now but I am English and was born in Stapleford, near Nottingham. Lived there til I was 11, then we moved to Llandudno.
I have great memories of Goose Fair! I have 5 brothers and sisters and I have an hysterical photo of us all holding those little monkeys that used to be used by photographers in the old days before animal rights activists put a stop to all that!!
Wish I could be there again.
