Default gluten .... isnt that bagel flour?

so if you take oatmeal and grind it into a flour, and mix it with gluten, does that make a low carb dough you can boil in some lightly salted water and bake (after forming the appropriate bagel shape, bagel stick, etc)

hmmmmm, bread without carbs and without loads of salt

this is a win win deal, lol

I guess you could coat it with bagel seasonings, sesame, poppy, garlic, onion, etc etc, black pepper even, something IVe wanted to see on bagels for a long time!

wonder how well they would freeze, wonder if you could do them manhattan bagel style, freeze the dough in bagel shape and bake (not sure if they boil before or after freezing)

real dense, chewy low carb bagels would be a great way to ease the shock of going low carb!!!
