Hi Deana
I use to live in the U.S. and most health foods stores carry non sweetend cocnut ( also called desacated cocnut) If you are lucky enough most large Asian stores carryit also.
Hope that is a bit of help.

Happy LCing!

Trader Joe's carries it, if you have one nearby.

Sad to say but I have no Trader Joes in Florida, I only wish.
But I will try a health food store, we have plenty of those.

Thanks for the help.

Bob's Red Mill sells the coconut online and that's where I buy it, since no one local carries it, even after I begged and pleaded.

Default health food stores

yeah the health food stores genereally have a bulk bin for unsweetened coconut otherwise ask an employee. i went through the same thing here in Portland. I finally went to Nature's and they had it. It was a bit dry but you can actually try soaking it or tossing it in some Davinci SF cocount syrup to moisten it up.

good luck.
