Default Sugar Free Vanilla Shots at Starbucks

I ordered a decaf coffee with a sugar free vanilla shot for the first time yesterday at Starbucks. I couldn't believe how good -- and sweet-tasting -- it was. I got on Starbucks website and the nutritional info posted for the sugar free syrups is 0 across the board. Can this be true? I would think there would at least be a 1 gram carb count for whatever artificial sweetener it is that sweetens the syrup.

Sugar-free syrups made with Splenda use liquid Splenda so it is completely carb and calorie free.

I drink coffee almost daily and for a treat I have a Grande Decaf Breve Misto with sugar free vanilla (If you like it a little stronger you make it Americano). It still has quite a few carbs...something like 11, but I allow for this and only do it occasionally. Tastes terrific!

Starbucks syru0p is made with asperteme, not splenda.

Hastings (it's a bookstore/cafe) has a weird brand of splenda sweetened syrups. Torini and DaVincci are also splenda sweetened.

The sugar-free syrups at starbucks are vanilla ( made with asperteme) and hazelnut ( made with Splenda). The other syrups i wouldn't touch (lots of sugar)

I bought my husband a bottle of Hazelnut torini syrup so when he needs that little extra sweetener in his coffee he can add it. He does use it sparingly though, and yes it is sweetened with splenda.

I get torini locally and love it. The only reason I still get DaVincci is they have a little more flavor variety.

If your Husband likes the hazlenut I highly recomend the almond flavor. I use it in alot of things, reminds me of the bear claws I have to work with everyday

I love coffee, never had the syrups in it though.
I have however used the Atkins syrups in seltzer and it tastes awesome!
