Default can i make my own gatorade?

ok.. so we have started longer workouts.. outside biking, hiking or mountain biking.. im a little worried about losing electrolytes (esp in this heat).. ive gotten a bit light headed even though im drinking water.. I thought about mixing half 'gatorade' and half water into our bottle to help..

Of course i dont want ot use REAL gatorade because of the sugar.. and I cannot drink anything like propel (allergy to AS) or energy drinks with AS.. could i mix unsweetened Kool-aid, 1 teaspoon of table salt and 1/2 teaspoon of mortons LITE salt to a quart of liquid with splenda? and if so.. how much splenda would you recommend? and a whole pkt of kool aid per quart?

TIA for your help all replies are appreciated!

With this type of diet, salt shouldn't be a problem, Potassium and magnesium are more important. Just pop those a couple of time a day, and wash them down with a diet drink, and you should be ok.. and if you worry about salt, eat something salty like pork rinds, or some feta cheese..
