the 'magic'(?) of diet pills
I thought some may enjoy this link to an article I read in the Atkins Newsletter (no you will not be kicked off of the TSP bd if you read it! ) I imagine at some time most of us here have at least wondered or thought of using 'diet pills' in the process of wreaking metabolisms/hormones etc. , looking for an answer. I know as a teenager Dr.s recommended the OVC offerings for losing just a few lbs. before they were banned. Anyway this gives a nice rundown of them.

Dr. Atkins states "There is no magic pill-there isn't even a magic diet. The only true way to safe, permanent weight loss is through a lifesyle that combines a healthy diet with physical activity." he concludes with " Where does the long sorry history of weight -loss panaceas leave us? Right back where we should have been all along: losing weight and keeping it off and by combining a controlled carbohydrate intake with a regimen of regular exercise."
