Default Yippee! Yippee!

All right! The whoosh fairy made a little visit to my place last night... I gave in to my urge to weigh myself since I am on TOM but did anyway and what a nice gift!
On another note, some advice needed. I have an aunt and uncle who I am going to visit tonight and tend to be very judgmental. I would prefer to not tell them that I am doing Atkins because it is going to (1) bring some probing questions from them and (2) become the source of family gossip! I thought of creative ways to ask them what they will be making for dinner... and since I don't want to be rude, I called and asked what I could bring to contribute. I will bring along a LC salad, and I know they'll be serving meat, but do you all have any clever ideas on how to field questions about passing on the potatoes, bread, etc?

Thanks guys!

Just don't take servings of what you won't be eating. Or, take small servings and push them around so they appear to have been eaten. If Auntie asks what's the problem, just say you're not hungry, or that you've filled up on the delicious meat, and change the subject.

P.S. Congrats on the visit from the Whoosh fairy!

These sound like very helpful suggestions! It's too bad that I can't feel like they'd be supportive of this WOE, but I am sure that you all can relate. Everyone has someone like that in their families!

Hehe, you could always say, "Oh no, that gives me terrible gas!"
They won't push it on you then!
