Whey protein, soy protein??????

Hi. Just got Dr. Atkins Diet Cookbook. The receipe for cheddar cheese bread calls for 1/3 cup whey protein. I have soya protein isolate. Is it the same thing? Can I use it. Thx. Suzanne
